Another notable one for me: I avoided playing The Lawnmower Man on SNES for years because of the box art, and the few times I did play it I was scared off by the weird opening scene. Nowadays I think the game is just okay.

This is a bit of a goofy one but Lickitung in Pokémon Stadium terrified me as a kid, something about the way it was animated disturbed me.
With time, it became a Pokémon I liked to use in a couple teams.

The best thief outfit out of all the Phantom Thieves by far. A really charming introduction with Morgana trying to make her into a new Phantom Thief when she clearly has no idea what she's doing. She might get barely any screentime but Haru is one of my favorites in P5.

So, admittedly I never cared for Kimberly in the actual show. She became a favorite of mine with the 2016 comics, which made her a very fun and interesting character; she was usually the standout of the two girl Rangers in those (I do like Trini too tho).
