I first heard about rich guys in think tank type discussions talking about culling the population over 3 decades ago. At first I didn't think they were serious. I soon realized they were.
They see at least 1/3 of the population as "useless feeders".

As for the solution, it's too general and, as I've alluded, partly impossibe and mostly improbable. 1st: How do you go about convincing people that are so entrenched in their false sense of superiority to change their beliefs and behavior? Until you can do that, nothing else will enter the equation.

I get that. You want your street swept. I'd like to see everybody's streets swept. The streetsweepers are broken down and nobody's streets are getting swept.

If someone, anyone, can find a way to make it up to everyone that's been hurt, originally AND subsequently, I say go for it. But, it is impossible to repair the past even if we had a time machine. I think the focus needs to be making things better for the future. You can't unbreak an egg.

That's not my point. I'm not saying "what about" anything. I just mean it is not a strictly US problem. It is endemic in the human species. If there were some way to erradicate racism, discrimination, etc. that would be great. I just don't think it's possible and there is no way to equitably fix it.
