Just signed a few books for lucky readers at the Hudson News at Newark Terminal A. I didn’t write any of these books, but still, what a surprise this will be.

Aww man, such sad news. What an original, what an icon. I’ve lost track of how many times I’d seen David Jo over the years…solo, as Buster, The Dolls, every show was so good. And will never forget a fun little chat that he ended with, “Ok, be good…or be bad, I don’t care.” RIP, #davidjohansen

Got to see the glorious return of Jesse Malin tonight at The Beacon, the first of 2 benefit shows in support of Jesse’s recovery. And yes, that’s Lucinda Williams, Elvis Costello, Butch Walker and Danny Clinch with Jesse during the rave-up finale of The Clash’s “Rudie Can’t Fail”. What an evening.
