Throw back to when I made a quilted custom tree skirt—learned a ton making this 6’ diameter tree skirt from designing it to adding the label (and a few anti-slip patches on the back to keep it from scooting around under the tree). Been debating making it into a pattern—any interest? #quiltsky

Sometimes a simple pattern with low volume fabrics hits just right. This quilt was gifted to a couple when they finished rebuilding their home after a devastating fire. Every home needs a wearable hug. #quiltsky #modernquilt #hstquilt #giftedquilt

I think that was the only time he was considerate. He usually sprawled out on anything—at age 17 now so he doesn’t get up on tables anymore. His five year old buddy took over the job of Chief Nuisance with gusto though.

Sometimes you make something that may not necessarily come together perfectly, but it becomes a favorite make anyway. This Twizzle quilt was one of those makes—horrible job keeping the points on the HRTs, yet the colorful end result makes it all good. #modernquilt
