I used to do that, it's almost like rice. Now I cook it normally, strain it and fry it in sesame oil so it gets crispy.

I thought I saw the author saying that they started with that originally, but then made a bunch of improvements based on the Altirra source.
Oh yeah I think it's just missing the two-tone filter so I'll have to figure that out

I'll be adapting code from the excellent web-pokey project which was based on Altirra, but there's no CPU, it's only a register log player. So I'm gonna try to use the CPU from ASAP to load the registers and have the other one read them. Shouldn't be too hard...

This will improve the emulation accuracy, because it requires replacing the playback engine. Now it's using ASAP which does its mixing in a weird way so I can't figure out how to get individual channel feeds

the violin bow creates quite a bit of noise, and I'm curious how that could be incorporated to get a more gritty kind of sound
