Even with the grand changes to Standard everyone’s been clamoring for — the format is still not the most appetizing to invest in.

Okay, so sorry to lead astray. The work situation is real, but the question is a bit rhetorical.
Isn’t it a pretty big ask? Can an Average Joe really leave ‘security’ — benefits/severance package, community, healthcare, etc — and find success in a field where millions of creators are trying, too?
