I don’t usually like to talk about this kind of thing on social media. But dealing with some really messed up harassment lately from someone struggling greatly with their mental health.

I would like to just say to the rest of you, that even though your time with sex workers may feel therapeutic, we are not a replacement for therapy.

And please be kind to us, we deal with a lot behind the scenes we don’t always feel comfortable (or safe) to share about. And that’s not because sex work is inherently dangerous. The stigma around it is what makes some people see us as less than, and justifies their entitlement to our bodies.
