Unfortunately this is just not the case on the yugioh half. One of the priciest staples rn is like $60+ and there’s frequently some $100 dollar staples (really good staple in a really bad set syndrome)

Dracotail is pretty low to the ground in terms of yugioh, most of your gameplan is conserving resources and going 2-for-1 on each interaction. It’s also got a pack available right now (and closing soon) if you want to “pull” for it

So this is a crow (and some other creatures) corrupted by a curse held by something (someone?) called “azamina”.
I agree that it’s hard to parse I only know this because I play the game and recognize the art and associated lore

It was legal for 4 years afaik between bannings. It only cropped up because there were enough decks with access to gear gigant X to summon exterio via the normal summon
