Wrapped DiggerGun from @kabloop.bsky.social, legit one of my games of the year. It takes such a simple mechanic and elevates it through a deluge of tiny friction points that have you eking out every moment of efficiency. Its sharp satire is cut with some lovely moments of worker solidarity.

Oh dry erase markers will last about 2 seconds on dice lol. I just realized that blank white dice and a bunch of these stickers should do the trick, especially as I want different colored dice. Just need a good deal on bulk dice.

After soft-locking my Phantasy Star 2 run I've jumped ahead to 4 (the only one on Nintendo Online and it seems 3 is somewhat maligned). An hour in and I can tell this one is GOATed. There's so much character expressed through it's comic panels, Alys is back and she's an absolute girl boss.

After soft-locking my Phantasy Star 2 run I've jumped ahead to 4 (the only one on Nintendo Online and it seems 3 is somewhat maligned). An hour in and I can tell this one is GOATed. There's so much character expressed through it's comic panels, Alys is back and she's an absolute girl boss.
Finished my playthrough of the classic Donkey Kong Country trilogy with Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. Definitely stretching the limits of the formula with the gimmicky levels that are more fun than challenging albeit janky at times. But it has a great adventure vibe including the overworld puzzles

Been on a word game trip so dragged out Spell Smashers, which I'd really enjoyed demo'd at a convention but never got around to trying at home. It remains a little wonky but brings some fantastic flavor, like getting to pants a vampire
