NY is home of both Dr. Brown's of Cel-Ray fame, plus Boylan.

I don't know about Maryland, buy it's probably something Old Bay-flavored

Kutztown Soda Works. I'd go with the Birch Beer, Red Cream, or Sarsaparilla. kutztownsodaworks.com/our-sodas/

Unfortunately, my weird local soda company (Brookdale Soda of North NJ) went out of business decades ago.

Another thing I bought at Jewett's. Jewett's sells lots of non-cheese products. Local charcuterie, meat, and dairy, honey, and jams, maple syrup and maple products, bulk spices, beans, and baking goods, bulk snacks and candies. Many samples of cheeses, meats, snacks, and candies are put out daily.

The cheese counter inside Jewett's. Jewett's makes and ages their own cheddars, but of course they sell a lot of other cheeses including local, national, and imported. I bought Wensleydale with cranberries, 14 year-old cheddar, halloumi, and Irish porter cheddar.

Just inside the entrance of the Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed. Just a sprawling series of rooms with loosely separated vendor areas. A lot of artists and crafters, with some antiques and collectibles. I've never been to the restaurant because it's small and always full. Thus ended our trip.

Trump and Republicans start describing Miami as a Democrat-run crime-ridden failure city in 3...2...1.

(Congrats to Miami Dems, though.)

Our final stop was in off-the-beaten-path Erieville to the Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed. A former furniture manufacturer/store in the middle of nowhere, the owners turned the place into a sprawling multi-vendor artisan marketplace
