I hesitate to bring this up as RFK Jr. and Trump clearly have no idea what they are talking about or what damage they are doing but there is actually reputable research showing paracetamol/acetaminophen has a negative effect on fertility and embryonic development.

There are way more things that don't work than there are things that work. Without some very careful editorial choices, which would probably require deeply specialized knowledge, journals would be flooded with null result articles. 3/3

When you read an article reporting a negative result, you don't know whether the thing just plain doesn't work or whether the people reporting it doesn't work messed up somehow. 2/3

There is nothing but risk for the individual scientist in publishing null results. If you can't make your thing work, you publish this and someone else manages to make it work you are now demonstrably incompetent. 1/3

Do the proving tools not give a counterexample when they fail to prove some invariant?
The HW formal verification tools I work with will provide a counterexample for any failing assertion (assuming it can decide pass/fail).

Maybe re-work the voting system to break up the two-party system? I'm guessing a lot of people hold their noses and vote for the MAGA republican because they *really* don't want to vote democratic. A larger range of candidates could alleviate this.
