Rifts of Chronos will be going on hiatus! TLDR: Going on break due to lack of buffer pages and the holiday season. Estimated to Return January 5th! Long version: With the holiday season coming up, I had a plan that in December I would take a month long hiatus in order to prevent overworking myself during that time. Unfortunately that break has been pushed to even sooner, as I have run out of the buffer pages I had built up. New pages themselves aren’t as much the issue as the fact that I have a lot of visual development work that still needs to be done for important props and characters in Chapter 2. Chapter 1 was created though a lot of crunching to finish pages as quickly as possible in the 4 months they were in development, but as I am still new to comics I am still experimenting to find a working schedule that I work best with! As sad as I am to have to take a break so soon after chapter 2 starting, I want to put the highest quality I can into my pages and to not rush them! During this break I will be finding a balance between resting and working on the visdev/buffer of pages, and I am hoping for a return on January 5th, 2026! Depending on how work goes, I may even need to switch the posting schedule from 2x/week to just once a week. That way I can still get pages out while building up my buffer! Thank you for all the support on the comic so far! I really appreciate everyone who has been reading, commenting, or even making fanart for it! It really does mean so much! 💕
