6. All the "rivals" in Pokemon X and Y
I know we all dunk on Lily and Hau, and I get it. But at least they have a character arc. At least they feel like people.
The other "rivals" in X and Y interfere a little less but are so cardboard thin they're a wonder they're in the game, sans padding.
