I bet when the Before Your Eyes people make a game about a baby, people expect they know how it ends. I won’t speak to that any more specifically. It’s just a funny thing to think about.

I never played the demo myself and it’s hard to talk around the spoilers. In my review I spoke a bit to that uneasy feeling of “did they get too weird with this” before ultimately it worked for me specifically because of the ending.

More than most things, I think you need to see the ending before you land on a takeaway. Maybe that means it’s a bad game to demo.

I've found that writing reviews for games I love is harder than those for games I don't enjoy, so sometimes I come away feeling unsatisfied with my writing. But I'm happy about how this one turned out.

I’d separated from my two teammates at the time. They were in the Dam tower while I was at the base of it and they jumped me on the zip line. Ran outside near the flood tunnel and had this standoff. 😅

Today a trio attacked me, I hid, downed one of them and told him, “I don’t kill the humans in this game. I don’t wanna start now. I’m gonna let your buddy come get you and we will all go our separate ways.”

And it worked! They picked him up and left as I watched them do it. What a standoff.

Kinda wild how bad our fascists are. They can’t even “keep the trains running on time.”

My sister-in-law was flying out of Texas today and said the TSA line was extending to outside the building.
