Still dicking around with the FlippyDrive / RetroGEM GC mount. I have like 6 different versions now of GC rear I/O panels so I'm combining them and adding punch outs for I/O stuff thats not being used.

Ugh. Made a huge mess in the shop over the weekend and now I gotta clean this mess up ☹️
Usually pretty good about cleaning up but it was really late when I wrapped up yesterday. Past me sucks sometimes.

Got some broken systems to use for a Game Boy Macro build, but I managed to fix em ☹️

I don’t just design and manufacture replacement parts. Sometimes I just spray paint stuff in the backyard.

Shit! I’ve been bitching about Star Trek never getting the Lego treatment.. but $400?? I’m so conflicted!

Welp, that Macintosh IIsi PSU was not salvageable. Some of tiny chips on the daughterboard were MIA due to all the cap juice.
Next best thing? Make a replacement PSU with a custom PCB and a bunch of expensive parts from digikey. 👍

Trying out the Series X: TETRAS filament drier add-on for the Bambu AMS. Honest review, it does what it says. I can stick sad wet filament in it and it dries it while it prints. No down time.
The 4 separate heaters… overkill imo. I’d be fine with one shared heater.

Sometimes, when I’m at the grocery store, I’ll buy a couple of fried chicken thighs and eat them in the cafe area. I do not tell my wife about this, nor do I tally the chicken in with the other stuff I’ve eaten if somebody asks what I’ve had today.

What a silly and pointless redesign: “Let’s make it bigger and take out some of the best features!”

Doing some weird Game Boy Color
nonsense tonight. Tried out some GBA SP style micro tactile switches but the throw is weird. Buttons go halfway down before the new switch gets hit and engages, kind of like on digital cameras. Trying to add some material to fill that gap…
