BlueSCSI is an open source, open hardware, and open design SCSI solution for vintage computers. It’s designed to replace a SCSI hard drive inside of your vintage computer or device, but it can also do so much more!

There are already very cheap and opensource hardware PC floppy emulators, space is covered I think! (FlashFloppy/OpenFlops) Just because it's not a RP2040 based doesn't mean it's a bad solution.

Pico is the name of a microcontroller by the Rasperry PI foundation - IDE is a storage solution (Hard disk/CDROM/etc) for vintage computers. SCSI is also a storage solution for old computers. Till today IDE did not have a cheap/open solution for dying cdrom/hdd. HTH
