I think my favorite thing about Sekiro with the Rikimaru mod is that Noshir has something akin to the same delivery for Sekiro's voice as Liam did with Rikimaru back in Tenchu Shadow Assassins. It's almost like having that version of Rikimaru all over again. They both have that raspy seriousness.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance and the awesome X-Men games that predated it set the stage for what a super hero top-down RPG could be. So when it was DC’s turn, they released a painfully mid game, and then never did it again. I want a good Justice League action RPG.

I still find it so cool that a Dragon Ball MMO exists, but at the same time I think it’s a horrible injustice that we’ve never gotten a Naruto MMO considering the scope of the world and all the different villages. I’m trying to play that puppeteer DPS class

You’re not a perfect game. Far from it. Downright obtuse at times. Some mechanics wholly unnecessary, fun traversal, but forgettable environments, overly simplistic and unnecessary fishing (Thank you for letting me hang out with Big). That said, thank you for bringing me back to this franchise.

I'm still very new to the world of PC gaming and fangames. I discovered and started playing Big's Big World. It's jank and empty but fun and it's such a solid idea of what I want out of Open World Sonic. Slap some enemies on here, more characters and missions, more polish and multiplayer 10/10

If you still haven't tried it yet you should get some friends together and play some First Class Trouble. It's such a fun social deduction game but finding games online is sadly impossible now. The devs finally got the IP rights back after a few years of bad publisher deals and they deserve the push

I FINALLY picked up Fly Knight after telling myself so many times “It’s just six dollars. Get it, you moron.” I’m so glad I did. It’s a Souls-like, but also VERY King’s Field inspired, and it’s been a treat so far. It feels nostalgic in a fresh way, and the vibes are immaculate.

Also, totally recommend 40 Winks for a Halloween gaming session. It kind of feels like a Halloweeny cartoon. Speaking of platformers of that era, depending on your enjoyment of average to below average games, Jersey Devil is a 50/50 on middest games worth trying or avoiding entirely. Maybe 60/40.

The fishing in Sonic Frontiers is more simple than I'd like, as far as fishing minigames go, but any time I get to spend with my favorite character is good time. ❤️ I still want a multiplayer online relaxing fishing game in the Sonic universe. Let me hang out with Big more!

Maybe it's because I haven't had much time in Frontiers yet but I honestly think open world playground hubs should be a defining Sonic feature now. Preferably in his actual world with all the bright, spritely designs, but from my experience so far, the open world with missions I can seek out is peak

I finally got Sonic Frontiers, and for the first time in a while I'm having a BLAST with 3D Sonic. I've never been good at Sonic games, though so S ranking these cyberspace missions so far has been ROUGH. I finally got Sonic Frontiers, and for the first time in a while I'm having a BLAST with 3D Sonic. I've never been good at Sonic games, though so S ranking these cyberspace missions so far has been ROUGH. Like part of me wants to pull my hair out but the other part of me is REVELING in the challenge
I love the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but I love the low poly look of the originals so much. I just think low poly art leaves so much room for the imagination to picture what a character would be like scaled up. That and low poly gnorcs are friend shaped. I don't want to be in the same room as the HD.

I grew up playing Ape Escape 2 as a kid. Finally got to try the first game as an adult. I spent the whole of Ape Escape 2 hearing Ash from Pokemon. I never could've expected that Spike would sound like he should be filing his taxes instead of catching monkeys

In the spirit of the Mega Man Legends game jam, I waited until it started to start practicing my takes on characters. The one I was most excited for was Tiesel Bonne. This is my first recording session trying to get the characterization down. Again, all work given to me during this jam is volunteer!

Whenever I think of a game that’s overwhelmingly mid, but also super awesome, and ticks every box for over the top, edgy coolness, I think of the entire GunGrave series. Like… I can’t recommend these games, but I’m also still going to play them just for their aura alone.
