Oh excellent, thank you!

WHILE I HAVE YOU HERE, I ran across Toom at Costco last week, went "I know what that is!", and picked it up based on you liking it so much. Suggestions on how to use it??

For me, the problem there is the food intolerances. The premade stuff rarely plays nicely with them. I DO have some stuff in the freezer though and I have a couple easy soups I need to make this week, so all is not lost.

Surprisingly much, at least to me, every time

I've seen a mocha version that I wanna try at some point! It's funny how they're an easier base to take in a lot of directions than even plain (hot) oatmeal.

I also used it to top yogurt when I was eating that regularly and taking it to work/classes. I like the way it softens up a bit from either hanging out in the moisture in the yogurt or being heated in the oatmeal, so I may mix it in after the overnight oats are ready and then wait a bit to eat.

!! Oof that sucks :(

Oh, and shredded coconut! I was thinking that! The protein mix has that in its flavor profile, so it'd go especially well there, but also maybe a kind of banana split type thing in the summer with bananas, almonds, and blueberries??

Cookie crumbles! I have some salad topper (Costco - glazed pecans, sweetened cranberries, and pumpkin seeds) that I've been adding to hot oatmeal with a little brown sugar and I want to try it in overnight oats at some point.

I love the babbling, it's a lovely distraction from the work I need to be doing that I'm stressing over. I loooove mango, which is why it's tragic I have an oral allergy to them 😭 They still taste good, but they kinda bite back. It's VERY sad.

I'm also planning to add banana to the choco (was going to skip the extra sugar and just try a banana, but forgot) and, side note, dang those peaches are good. The rice milk one almost didn't make it back into the fridge for the rest of the experiment.

I like how the visible wing and its engine are so covered they look like they're actually painted white and the snow is just on the body and then you realize no, no that's not what's happening there

I'm on cup #2 again which is a terrible idea, and yet.

had to stop, ran out of characters. Turns out there's quite a few.

(This conversation started because she was surprised by a mention of a late husband in passing. I'll guess the surprise was for a couple of reasons. She got the whole 20-50 timeline because we're going to be developing a thing together and it will be useful context. It also doubled as a warning 😂)

Basically people hear the whole thing ("So my first major in the early 90's was art history admin. It was either that or astrophysics. This is who I am as a person.") and realize I defy the standard assumptions and am also certifiably insane ("You send in ONE homework assignment from the ICU-").

The thing with people assuming you're 15 years younger than you are is that it's at least half a curse in civil engineering, wherein age = authority through assumed experience. I however, occupy a weird middle ground wherein my age =/= engineering years and engineering years =/= inexperience.

That seems like a sub-optimal situation
