If I were making a Street Fighter movie, I wouldn't go for realistic. I'd lean in to the fantastical, like a DC/MCU movie.
Make the fighters super powered people. Have Ryu throwing Hadokens, Blanka's a big green monster, Dictator does the Psycho Crusher, etc. . . (1/2)

(2/2) . . . I bought a translucent "Atomic Purple" shell from Classic Games Alive on Ebay to mimic the new (at the time) purple in SF2T's logo.
The label is a Holo3DFX cart label I bought from @dinierto.bsky.social on Etsy. The look and texture of the label is incredible!

(2/2) . . . I bought a translucent "Atomic Purple" shell from Classic Games Alive on Ebay to mimic the new (at the time) purple in SF2T's logo.

(2/2) I bought a yellow cart shell from REPROPCBS to mimic the bright yellow of original arcade cab and to differentiate it from the 30th Anniversary cart.

The only one I can think of is the SNES/SFC controller. It's button layout is still the most commonly found layout in controllers and handhelds today.

Sure, the Miyoo Mini + has the CAPABILITY to run Contra 4, but there is NO WAY you can actually play the game this way competently. 🤦
Contra 4 uses both of the DS's screens for the playfield, so you'd be getting hit by bullets and obstacles coming from off-screen almost non-stop. 😵💫

It still annoys me that my favorite Game & Watch game, G&W Super Mario Bros. (YM-105) is largely ignored whenever G&W collections or recreations are released. 😮💨
Not having it on the Super Mario Bros. G&W was an especially big missed opportunity. 🤦

Gradius Galaxies is a great game from Mobile21 that feels very mainline adjacent. Some ideas from previous Gradius games are used here, But in new ways that are refreshing.
The only thing I can really complain about is the music, but that has never been the GBA's strong suit.
