I just hope she finds someone to love her. I have three, two of them senior. One has CHF and I make sure he takes his meds on schedule and have him sleeping with me. I know that he wouldn't abandon me if the roles were reversed. They are loyal companions when you give them understanding and love.

My rescued dog is "aggressive" with anyone but me and nice people who are kind to him. He's terrified of brooms & sticks. When I leave him with pet sitters I make sure they know that. Never had any problem with my sweet boy. Stop the fear mongering and step out of her way. Dogs have feelings too.
