We have my coworker’s grandson and it’s a sad, difficult family history but she and her husband are raising him and he’s doing well.
And today I got to stop her in the parking lot to tell her he got 100 on the math test. He beat his smug frenemy who’s higher in math. He did great.

I was leaving my parents’ and my mom looked at moose and said do you wanna go and watch tv for a little bit and snuggle with mama and he looked at her so happy and wagged his tail bc he loooooves bedtime but he stays up for his special alone time with mama

I checked schedules and if he puts me between multiple grades I won’t be able to work lunch or recess. Which is a sizable chunk of my paycheck. Monitor duty is a lot.
So I would be doing twice the work for substantially less money.

I was so excited for my phone case and it’s the wrong size. And then my coworker messages me that our boss has decided that since they overworked another TA into quitting I’m just going to have to do her job on top of my own because he won’t hire anyone new.
