We just adopted a cat ❤️✨ He’s 6 months old & his name is Ninja (I was outvoted. My choices: Nyx, Rune, Nox or Finn). Anyhoo. He keeps intently staring at the ceiling & moving his head around like he’s watching something. So I guess we have ghosts?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Forty days of shutdown, and Democrats emerged with nothing but paper cuts and talking points. Not a single policy win, not a single concession on healthcare, not even a symbolic nod to the voters who just told them to fight harder. They spent six weeks pretending principle and pragmatism were the same thing, and in the end, the only thing reopened was their revolving door to corporate donors. Trump gets to claim victory, the markets get to exhale, and ordinary Americans get the bill, again. It’s the legislative equivalent of a hostage exchange where the hostage negotiates with himself.

What if beaurocrats stopped signing forms that separated children from their parents? What if police stopped protecting ICE agents who are acting illegally? What if lawyers stopped representing the regime? What if engineers stopped writing code for software surveillance? What if National Guard troops called in sick? What if all registered Democrats joined the Republican party and started changing it from the inside?5 What if we all told Disney we won’t buy their Micky Mouse fantasy if they don’t rehire Jimmy Kimmel? ←These tactics work. And we need to be doing them all the time, every day, at every opportunity. If you want to fight tyranny, don’t just protest it, jam its management system. Ask the forbidden questions. Slow the process. Get lost. Document everything. Demand signatures from the people who give the orders. Make them own it. Bureaucracies rot from accountability.
