If your lie is especially egregious and borderline psychotic, I’ll use OSINT to find you, lol. If you’re going to do that, don’t broadcast it from a literal firehose:

I’m thinking this as I watch someone who is obviously borderline make up another self‑victimizing story from Portland.

The connections from indexed links across the AT protocol are easy to query, allowing developers—like me—to build tools around social relationships without running their own indexing infrastructure. I'm currently using it on my own PDS. With decentralization, you sacrifice normalization and privacy.

Constellation is a public API from the Microcosm project that indexes links across the AT Protocol, especially Bluesky. It collects real-time network data such as likes, follows, and replies.

It's just very entertaining. Bluesky treats user profiles as if they were public repos. The structure is very similar to Git. For example, you have Constellation. It would make more sense to lie like that on Signal, Nostr, or Telegram. Not here, lol

Hello! — Constellation
Constellation is a self-hosted JSON API to an atproto-wide index of PDS record back-links. You can use it to query social interactions in real time.

While they're lying, I literally have a live satellite view of where they actually are and what they're actually doing, and I'm just sipping my tea, talking shit about them to my husband. Because of the way decentralization works, privacy doesn't exists on it, because there's no centralized system.
