I dont know why we aren’t taking false references more seriously. To me its as bad as data fraud. Made up evidence. The Aus gov accepted that report that had made up refs, and we only refunded some of the money

Another shock is submitting to Wiley journals, there’s a tick box about genAI discouraging its use in writing. Fine. But the very next tick box is to allow Wiley to use genAI to analyse your work!

Interesting what you say about using shell commands over MCP. Are their any disadvantages to that approach?
I’ve been writing scripts and telling the agent how to run them from the terminal, as a rudimentary MCP. Works fine and is less complex than mcp
