From what I heard they were similar to the clutches used in the smaller R56 Mini's, not too uncommon for them to wear prematurely I guess.
It was also a pretty miserable car to work on though which didn't help much

I decided to move on, loved driving the car but repairs were becoming pretty tiresome sadly.
