I'm not a native English speaker so I probably couldn't tell the difference 😆 But still it's good to know 👀

So would you say it's worth the hype? I may try the audiobook, but I'm scared of the spiciness hahaha
But I discovered Rachel Reid is a local writer, so I'm intrigued 👀
I didn't know her books were going to be adapted and wondered why all her events at my local bookstore were sold out 😂

#OFMDReadingChallenge prompt 1.1 for a book featuring a rebellion. The leading ladies in the 2nd instalment of the Ill Mannered Ladies series rebel against everything society and really awful brothers demand they be. Great follow up to a book I enjoyed and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

1.6 The Art of Fuckery
Prompt: "Take your sword, run me through" | a spicy book | Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid

I've already reread the book since recently finishing it so I think that sums it up 😅. I will be reading the rest of the series!

1.4 - Discomfort in a Married State
Prompt: "Two chandeliers? That's overkill!" | a book with a two-word title | Real Tigers by Mick Herron

Continuing my way through this series. Jackson Lamb (both the book & TV character) is just so fun and fascinating to follow.

1.10 I'm in the blanket fort
(A middle grade book)

On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson. A fun book that 12-year-old me would have read until the cover fell off. A little slow in the beginning, and a bit predictable, but cute nonetheless.

Magical baking, identity journey, queer community & found family, romance - all the ingredients for a heart-hugging read.

The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks for "1.1 My life’s here now, at sea"

⭐⭐⭐ I found the main character of this last book a little exhausting, but an overall great series I'd recommend to anyone who likes pirates, comedy and queer characters 😄

The Strength of the Few for "1.10 Unhand me or bleed"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the sequel of The Will of the Many, that I read a month ago and absolutely loved. I'm now fully obsessed with this series, it has such great world building and character development! *screams*

"Baker Thief" by Claudie Arseneault.

2.5* - I wish I loved this but I unfortunately didn't. It's got great queer rep though in terms of sexual/romantic orientations and gender!
