That's a great shot! You managed to capture a lot of the finer details of the galaxy. As far as milky way shots go this one is probably my best or favorite. I took it at the big island volcano visiter center in Hawaii. It's the only place I've ever been that was black on a dark site map.

Honestly at the time I took it I thought it was much too late for milkyway. But I got lucky and tested night photo mode on my phone and it showed a bit of milky way. Then I brought back out my camera and shot for a while!

Yeah it definitely grows faster when it's planted into soil but it it'll grow well on that rock. It grows like a weed so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't care about the glue at all lol. You'll have to keep me updated on how it's going!
