I was thinking the same thing. Some people prefer the wealth of deep connections and enduring friendships, while others surround themselves with coldly calculating sycophants.

Canadians were the first to halt travel to the US. States like Florida definitely felt it. Now some US businesses, with employees overseas, are thinking twice about holding in-person meetings and conferences. We deserve to be isolated.

On the other side of this is boomers, like myself, who ditched Facebook, Instagram and Amazon as soon as we learned of the hefty donation these companies gave to the Trump inauguration.
