Two meet-ups ago, we literally talked about >10 books because everyone was deep into their own summer/copium reading.

We did once reach out to an author who we belatedly realized was local and invited her to our meetup AFTER reading her book. She was a delight!

Ok, I feel personally attacked by these kids and, with respect, I would like them to get off my lawn.

I belong to the world’s most haphazard book club and your latest is on my personal list. Been reading so many mysteries this year to soothe my soul and I’m happy to add another. Then I’ll tell my compatriots about it as we nosh and fail to agree on “the next book we all read.”

It’s how we roll?

I know a lot of astronomers and physicists tell themselves that I seem like a strong person/ality who can handle anything and I just need everyone to know how fucking sexist and racist it is to simply put it down to “well she can take it”

The first book I got was "The White Dragon". Ok, that one is particularly problematic, and it's technically out of sequence, but wow Wow WOW was that a book.

Between her and MZB ... totally got me hooked.
