Seeing this otherwise sleepy class light up when my voice started coming out of a goofy looking cartoon animal avatar brought me so much joy, and I think they got more from that presentation than they do when I'm just speaking in front of them. Maybe I should only lecture from VR for now on LOL

Well okay, to be more specific, it was more like the history of recording studios which involve microphones (and we talked a bit about the advent of the condenser microphone)

But I feel like that falls under the subject of "microphones or whatever"
