I wole up this morning with the news that the Trump has bombed Venezuela and kidnapped its leader. Hitler started by invading Poland and then proceeded to invade the whole of Europe. Same difference.

Quelle tristesse. Après Frank Pé, voici qu'Édika nous a quitté à son tour. Grand gourou de la connerie et de l'absurde, il m'a accompagné tout au long de mon adolescence. Sa disparition laisse un trou béant dans le monde du 9e art et des éclats de rire partout où il a été lu.

BD en quatre cases réalisée pour la 16ᵉ édition de Québec en toutes lettres, dont le thème cette année était « L’autre qui bat en nous ». On y célébrait les figures marquantes, les filiations littéraires, la transmission et les voix qui nous ont précédées et inspirées. J’ai choisi Félix Leclerc!

J'ai appris le décès de Drew, illustrateur de talent qui est à l'origine de tant d'affiches de films qui font partie de la culture populaire. Merci Drew. RIP/I just heard the passing of Drew, a great artist who made so many movie posters that are part of the pop culture. Thank you Drew. RIP

Being a fan of Hammer Films, Christopher Lee and Dracula, I decided to make myself a little something inspired by Dracula A.D. 1972, my favorite film starring Lee as the immortal count. Not quite movie accurate, but close enough.

Purchase of the day! Batman: Year One Artist's Edition by David Mazzucchelli. Beautiful artwork at presented in its original size of 14" x 21". It's filled with the complete story, pencil layouts, sketches, ink illustrations and more. This is so much more than a comic book. It's an art book.
