We stopped by this afternoon to see how Shawn Sharpe is getting on with his latest creation - Our Edith.

He is hoping to get it finished during Friday and the
latest section of the mural incorporates people of
Preston who stopped by to see Shawn during Thursday as he sprayed. 🎨

The police cordon remains in force across a number of roads in Ingol. Emergency services were called during Wednesday afternoon after explosive devices were uncovered.

The new tram bridge taking shape on the River Ribble at Avenham Park.
Just awaiting the rest of the bridge structure before it is hoisted into position later on this Autumn. The new bridge is due to be finished by Spring 2026.

The walk, for the second year, went from the city's university campus through Winckley Square to Avenham Park and back in support of the Mary O'Gara Foundation based in Fulwood and Papyrus the suicide prevention charity.

Hundreds of people joined he and his wife Sharon as they remembered the O'Gara's daughter, Mary, who took her own life in 2020. She was just 27.
