finances, social status, future career, friendships and relationships... it's all incredibly taxing on the mind, and I still have that feeling my past decisions will come back to haunt me

I'm thinking it's largely a mindset thing and people like it when things are happening, no matter if it's good or bad... but mostly bad, as it gets the attention going and keeps people talking
you can see this behavior on Bluesky sometimes as well, albeit to a lesser degree, since it's much quieter
