realizing you likely already knew this but i like this trivia so

small mike speaks in standard japanese like arboliva said, and on top of that uses a different pronoun in-costume (boku). pippins' pronoun of choice is wai (masculine, somewhat specific to the kansai dialect), but even then green pippins breaks convention by using wate (gender neutral)

they are absolutely the cutest... the sound is called snd_pinball in the files, but in actuality the noise varies in pitch each time you interact with them during that scene

i think i've heard pippins make pinball sounds before actually... like when they're rummaging through chests for points in a certain bonus room. it's very subtle though, you have to get really close to hear it!
