also just because it isn't being self published doesn't mean it isn't a good game. dave the diver for an example is an absolutely amazing game with an indie framework in mind. though it may not be indie, it is still a game made with passion and creativity, which is what we should be pushing for.

the size of the dev team doesn't matter, nor how much money they themselves pour into it. if we went by that, you'd be disqualifying most indie games as indie games. these should not be indicators of indie, as it will muddy the waters and make very unclear what actually is indie at that point.

Sorry for the long wall of posts. this one was pretty stupid to witness. some people just need to read the room and learn they are not well liked and just accept that fact.

so if they were to fully get rid of it? will just confirm my decision to come over here was better option. I don't give a fuck about engagement and I don't care to see fuckheads I don't look like pop up in my feed constantly.

at the end of the day, the reason why I came here in the first place was because they were changing the block feature to favor profile stalkers and creepy people who couldn't stand there was people who didn't care to see the absolute trite these types of people write to keep their engagement up.

what will likely happen is that they'll whine and the twitter algorithm is gonna get tweaked to have the block feature's influence be less involved. if they go with the other option, it is gonna get removed from storefronts. just man up and accept you are a bellend if this is effecting you.

and if you remove the feature fully? more people just leave or stop using it. the people you're trying to get engagement from do not care to see your bullshit, getting rid of the block function is not gonna make them suddenly visit your posts.

I think it is IOS ( might be android too) where that apps with any kind of social features are required to have a block function to be on the app store. but overall, if you're whining about being a target for being blocked? maybe try being an actual likeable person?

as for idiots like Mark, who claim they were being weaponized for this reason, needs to understand that if they sought out a block list for people like him, then they already don't like him. and campaigning for them to remove it won't work.

I also feel like another peeve of mine is when people say " this isn't FFXIV music" when a newer song comes out and I have to sit down and be like " you mean the game that has such a variety of genres of music in it?, do you know how little that narrows that down!?"

You don't gotta like the music, but the internet runs on such hatred that now we suddenly hate everything because it gets more eyes on you.

Yoshi p does not know what level of destruction he has unleashed upon us. but on a serious note, I'm really glad that glam is completely unrestricted, I just wish it didn't take a mediocre xpac for us to actually get it.

I don't mind sexy characters. I often like to make my characters sexy too, so that isn't an issue for me. but like, if you need to jingle the keys like this, that tells me that you're already nervous your game is gonna fail.
