Not only is this a great addition to any Mork Borg collection. But it’s a fantastic stand alone Pirate Game as well. Great classes, fun mechanics and an easy to learn system that could make any Pirate fan excited. Including Ship Combat!! Check it out!!!

Today is such a beautiful day. I’m getting a nice meal at one of my favorite Diners. And had a wonderful Fabula Ultima session yesterday. And I’m about to bask in the beautiful windy day in Pennsylvania. Life isn’t always the best, but it has its days. ❤️

Back on my Fabula Ultima Kick. The newest Supplement for the system came out and it’s great! Add Camping, Forging an Cooking mechanics to the game. As well as some excellent new Classes like the Gourmet and the Merchant. So excited to run this game soon!

Ok so, I got my hands on Pokemon Emerald Seaglass recently and let me tell you, I’m a big fan of this HD Retro art style this fan remake of a Pokemon classic. The remade sprite art, the beautiful background art for the battles.

Ok so, I got my hands on Pokemon Emerald Seaglass recently and let me tell you, I’m a big fan of this HD Retro art style this fan remake of a Pokemon classic. The remade sprite art, the beautiful background art for the battles.

Time for a late night stirring of the DC community pot. The Dark Knight Returns is the worst Batman comic ever written. Right up there with anything Chip Zdarsky has ever written. Nothing about this comic is Batman. Nothing about this writer is ground breaking. This comic sucks.

The Mecha Hack is such a cool game. I got my hands on the Mission Manual supplement and it fucking rules. If your looking for a game that makes you feel like your playing a TTRPG version of Titanfall 2, then get your hands on this book!

I do have one gripe about #fabulaultima. And it’s that you loose track of time so fast when you are doing prep work for this game. I spent 2 hours making a STARTING enemy NPC. And I was having so much fun I thought only 30 minutes went by. How am I supposed to get this done when I’m having fun???

More official artwork for #fabulaultima some of which are from the Nature Fantasy supplement book that has yet to come out (This game is from Italy so we have to wait for English translations after the book comes out.) after Techno Fantasy, I’m so excited to see what comes next for this game.

Also #fabulaultima had some of the best official art for a TTRPG out there! This is just a small handful of it but my God! It shows so much character and helps create a great mind set for how you would like to run of play in this game!

Not nearly as crunchy as you’d think and lots of fun to play. More narrative focused than combat focused. A refreshing look for TTTPGs. 7.5/10

I wanted to like this system so bad. But some how, despite it using PBTA as a system, the combat feels sooooo boring. Making a character is boring. Leveling up is boring and roleplaying is gamified. Apparently a lot of people like this TTRPG, I am not one of them. Sorry. 4/10

This isn’t a TTRPG but I wish it was. Maleghast is a war-game like WH40k. Except extremely easy to pick up and learn. Doesn’t take up as much space like others, in fact an entire game can be played on a chess board no problem. Unfortunately no official minis. But chess pieces can work too. 8/10

What in the world is this system?? I’ve never seen something try not to be crunchy but end up being crunchy anyway. Very odd dice pool system and very odd character creation method. And all to try to make the game more narrative focused? Idk maybe this one just isn’t for me. 5.5/10

That being said, this system is slept on. Only has three base classes but those classes can be built and customized as you level up. And only used 3d6 in order to play. Medium crunch and easy to prep if you play D&D actively. 7.5/10

This one is a classic at this point. Using the Apocalypse system this game lets you live out your Supernatural/Buffy fantasy. Easy to set up, easy to learn, very approachable. All and all I very much enjoy this system. 7/10
