Is this the beginning of the end of 'vaping' being the lesser evil myth?
In this study e-cigarette use was NOT associated with smoking cessation.
In fact vaping was associated with REDUCED TOBACCO ABSTINENCE, suggesting that it may PROLONG both smoking and nicotine dependence.

Older female mice, who are past their reproductive age, showed more disease when infected with Lyme compared to younger female mice. Age is a key factor in how Lyme affects the body. - In fact we have more work on this topic spearheaded by @bleeeve243.bsky.social www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

The never before seen Borrelia burgdorferi caught in the act of making trouble in our mouse model of borrelia infection-associated chronic illness. I feel so grateful to get to collaborate with Kunzan Liu (who took these sunning images), and Sixian You who makes the invisible visible.

First post! First coauthorship in a lit review! We found #chestpain guidelines vary far and wide. Do we have a solution? No, but we do point out "guidelines" as a title leads to credibility as a more closely-assessed report on chest pain journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...
