Truuuue! Another thing to consider is that, because basestations likely won't be manufactured, I wouldn't trust the staying power of a lot of outside-in headsets like the BSB2

You may find that you don't like the BSB. I had the BSB1 and it had to be pressed so tightly to my face to get rid of lightleak. I'd get off of 2-3 hour sessions with a headache and feeling like I got hit in the nose lol I sold mine because it was passed the 2-week return window and got the quest 3

There's also impersonal ways to get bookings out there. I've seen some clubs have a form to fill out and then whenever an event rolls around, you just throw them into a group dm, give details and let the hosts sort out the rest.

I don't think it's a 'git gud' sort of deal. organizing and booking is a skill like any other and it gets easier the more you do it. if it's not your passion, though, you shouldnt feel obligated to do it. just work with someone who likes that aspects of event organization and they can do it :D

Lastly, battery is something that the greater 3rd party hardware solves for any wireless headset. I use a hotswappable 3rd party battery and usually have my Quest plugged in constantly so I don't have to do a hotswap. I just can't see myself getting the Frame based on specs, alone

I really struggled to find positives in the Frame. It weighs less but I've never really minded the weight of headsets. With a top-strap, it makes any headset wearable. The Frame """MIGHT""" run smoother and """MAYBE""" more stable due to being within a steam ecosystem but those are big ifs

Using a higher IPD for an hour would probably be fine but switching from lower vision back to in-headset gaze would be especially rough on my eyes (3/3)

Quest 3 has color passthrough which is useful to check colors on both my decks and monitors. IPD range is also wider on the quest 3, I rock it at the lowest IPD since I wear glasses and don't have custom lenses for the headset. I don't think I could even work with on the frame (2/3)

Notes:
Being able to dj without using hand-tracking has been amazing. I like to plug in shitty 3.5mm to do sound checks in world every now and then. Not having world volume and voices bleed into my room is a major advantage to having an aux port (1/3)
