Malis’ home smell is layered. She uses jasmine & vanilla scents to wash herself, her hair & her clothes so the house smells of that, as well as smoke & leather which she brings home from blacksmithing. The kitchen smells like meat & aromatics. There’s also an old book smell in the lounge.

This is a difficult one as I can’t imagine Malis without her magic but I also can’t imagine she would want to *study* it, so wizards out.
She’s got some rogue/fighter elements in her, but post-bg3 she could be reclassed as an artificer, making magically imbued weapons!
