Absolute perfection.

Yeah 😭! I honestly don't mind the characters but Blizz tends to miss characterize them a lot. A good example is Sylvanas!

I only hope that Midnight and future expansions focus more often on their world. See the changes happening within the zones (like Quel'thalas and Zul'aman) and make it feel alive through what we explore and see, rather than its characters all the time.

And because of that, the characters/NPCs, such as the gods and goddesses or the leaders, were also much more interesting when we didn't know everything about them and they were more like supporting characters in the story, as we've seen in Vanilla, Burning, Lich, Cataclysm and MoP.

MoP definitely is the sweetest perfect middle and balance we want. They did it perfectly, it was perfect.

I do have big hopes in the future we might see an entire old world revamp. We really, really need it. It will catch even the most veterans players attention!

I think the trick would be finding a good balance between them without overdoing both sides, but honestly we need more focus in the world, zones and what happens inside of each. Especially old ones, after so many years and changes.

Probably why I liked so much Cataclysm!

YEP. Characters were mostly just some type of support to the story, rather than it being the main focus.

What made the game so fun and interesting is the WORLD of warcraft. The zones felt alive, the stories inside them had weight and impact.

NPCs, gods, they were more interesting when mysterious.
