I remember breaking down crying after our first foster’s family came to pick him up—we were very close to “foster failing” because he was such a sweetie and got on really well with our other cats. It definitely got easier to let later fosters go after this first little guy.

Before considering the Court’s statutory interpretation of Section 1500 as discussed in Nycal, the Court notes its disappointment with the lack of preparation by the government. Despite discussing Nycal extensively during the 28 February 2024 status conference and notifying the parties it would again be covered at oral argument, the government was unfamiliar with Nycal and was unable to substantively engage with the Court on its statutory interpretation detailed therein.

Another post talks about a PSC decision on offshore wind transmission. It “quotes” two people who I’m fairly certain don’t exist?

Googling “Lena Torres offshore wind” links back to this story, and Deepwater Wind hasn’t existed since 2019.

There’s weird typos throughout and there’s this quote attributed to Mamdani that I haven’t found anywhere else. Wouldn’t we have heard this from Mamdani himself before getting it from a site that no one has ever heard of?

I thing I’ll always remember is that when Cynthia Nixon primaried Cuomo in 2018, she won the capitol district because seemingly everyone with even a tangential connection to Cuomo wanted him to lose. Food for thought!
