Why can we not just make a standard system where I have an extension installed or I'm registered with a service. The site I visit gets noted down and at the end of some time period a pot of money I can afford gets divided up between every article I read?

I know this is true because we met at the current job and she is literally the most thorough person. Maybe not the most efficient but she puts out good work every time. (We worked together for 2 years before she asked me out)

My wife's previous job was basically all bad leadership. The department head literally told her "you aren't cut out for this work". Her current job is literally the same work and she has repeatedly been asked to train new people. She is constantly acknowledged as one of the best.
