I'd also consider the Texas law going into effect next week a new medication abortion ban since Trump was elected, in as much as it is a specific prohibition on sending the med AB into Texas. Also while I'm here their description of how sb8 works is wrong. They needed a lawyer to fact check this.

Isn't this more a result of different individuals voting, rather than the same individual voters drastically changing what and who they are voting for?
Not that it entirely refutes the point, as the demagoguing probably depresses turnout, but a geography swinging is not the same as voters changing
