Nobody’s promoting the U.S. model. Least of all me. The point is we’re funding the wrong things — admin over access. Look to Germany and other European countries: fewer bureaucrats, more doctors, better outcomes. That’s the fix, not copying our southern neighbour’s dumpster fire of a system.

Does that really matter? It’s not a competition, after all. I’d much focus on the solutions for all than who has bragging rights for the worst off of the bunch.
