Very true, but it's important to point out because the NYT is venerated in mainstream liberal culture and more people need to realize it's been terrible at protecting democracy and vulnerable people for most of its history.

Go look at an analysis of NYT coverage of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany. The NYT has a rich history of downplaying local reports of genocide and the dangers of fascism.

Yes, literally. His parents met while she was researching for the movie. They married and he was born a month after the film premiered.
It was tied up with rights issues until recently, so now’s the time to finally check it out. It’s very good.
