I feel that’s more of an IRL setup where socializing with other musicians backstage/VIP is part of the fun. With VR and being able to be anywhere at any time, basically teleportation, there’s little negative connotation to traveling to a lot of places over the night.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a 3rd party sell a premium strap with integrated face tracking, better audio + bigger battery before this time next year.

EOZ gloves (www.eozvr.com/products/eoz...) that will be coming out early next year will be that! Not sure they will sell just the hardware without the glove though, probably could message and ask.
