I'm following you, but not on Xitter.
I have a headless 8 GB Raspberry Pi 4b and a 32 GB Orange Pi+ so far. Both are great. Run databases, build tools (Jenkins and SonarQube), etc, across them in Docker containers. I got the Orange Pi because I needed more RAM and the 16 GB Pi 5 hadn't been released yet. No need for a cluster. Yet. 😀

I mainly use macOS + Linux on my (headless) servers. Created a few VMs to see what KDE/Plasma, Ubuntu, and Pop are like these days.

I installed Debian + Plasma in a VM and it seems alright.

My brother-in-law (retired construction worker) has been using Linux for 10+ years. I suppose you wouldn't consider him "general public" then.

I think they may have decommissioned Alligator Alcatraz already. If so, I think we can find someplace "better" to send them.
