I also don't think exclusives do anything to make new consoles exciting because it's not like those games cant just be on every platform anyway. Older games had to bend to their consoles limitations which created diversity

I think it's because consoles today feel like and end to a means. They don't have that spark of creativity anymore. They are just lower end computers and dont offer a distinct experience whether you are on Xbox, steam, or PS version of a modern game.

I feel like they are intentionally abandoning standard and the frequency of releases has clearly impacted the quality of draft as well. It sucks.

I played it for the first time within the last 2 years. Didn't know anything about it other than ppl love it. It became one of my favorite games of all time instantly.
