Going off tangent, but I've realised I measure physical height in ft/in, weight in stone/pounds and distance in miles. Yet I measure everything else in cm/m and cooking measurements in ml/grams. That weird crossover at school that had ditched the imperial but couldn't quite get the hang of metric!
