The crowd extended from the capitol building to the intersection of Congress and 12th (which was closed). There were also lots of people sitting on blankets on the capitol lawn, so it felt kind of like a music festival.

Today’s No Kings protest in Austin went as planned, despite the fact that the Texas State Capitol was evacuated earlier due to a “credible threat” against lawmakers who were scheduled to speak at the protest.

CNN is using a stock photo of someone touching a nasal test swab directly to the sample port of their COVID-19 test device.

Is there really any COVID-19 test kit on the market that works this way? The ones I’ve used say stir the swab in a vial and then put N drops of solution in the sample port.
